(While I like to play BlackJack, I did not use the casino this time.) All in all, a terrific stay. The food at the pool was very good and very reasonable. The Lazy River is the best I've experience. They had a discount on Cabanas so I reserved a cabana by the pool one day and it, too, was lovely. The service in this regard, moving me quickly with no drama, was terrific. That said, they moved me immediately to another floor and I had a quiet experience the rest of the trip. I've never heard a group of people make so much noise. The first afternoon I moved into my room, a family then moved in next door. One potential problem: The walls are a little thin. The room was lovely! Great bed, nice amount of room for a standard hotel room and the bathroom, while it had no tub, was huge, laid out very well and extremely nice. Everyone simply seemed happy to be working there. I never encountered anyone who was less than friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. The staff across the board was superb, from valet (free) to check in to room service to pool, etc etc. I've always been curious so it was a good place for me to stay and easy for us to meet for dinner at Cielo, the restaurant on top of the casino. I stayed here two nights as I had friends in Palm Springs for the week. I will gamble and eat and drink at Morongo but I will not ever go to their hotel.

We had the $148.00 for the room and we are not dirty people as a matter of fact I would have cleaned the room before I left so $100.00 extra is crazy. The employees were very nice too us and helped us to celebrate. I also give high ratings to Ceilo's restraunt the food was great. I feel we could've been treated differently. I just don't appreciate the fact we could not have a room. Was it because it was two women on their honeymoon or what? I love the casino I give great ratings to the VIBE it was nice. I had called two days before asking a grand total and I was told $148.00 told nothing about an extra $100.00 so we stayed up 24hrs just to get turned down for a room. When we first got there we talked to the desk about our room not one time did they mention an extra $100.00 deposit. We were just there at Morongo Casino May 2nd 2015 we were two women celebrating our wedding day it was our honeymoon we stayed up all night just to fill our reservation.
